Open Google Chat.

1. Click on the search bar, search for a person or group you want, and select the name or group. Click on "Next" in the Supervity instruction widget.

2. Click on the "drop-down icon" beside the name or group.

3. From the Drop-down click on the "Mark as unread" option.
