A "Lookup Relationship" is a type of relationship that you can establish between two objects (or entities) within the platform's data model. This relationship allows you to connect records from one object to records in another object, creating a link between them

open Home | Salesforce

Select the gear icon and click on Set up for current app

Click Object Manager

In the quick find box mention the Object name on which one wants to create a Lookup relationship and then click on Next

Click Fields & Relationships and then click on Next

Click on New Custom Field

Select Lookup relationship type of field and then click on Next

Click Next

9.
From the drop down select the Object with which one wants to build the relationship

click Next

Provide the required details like Field label and then click on field name box (the name will be automatically generated) and then click on Next

Click Next

Select the Profile for which this field must be visible and then click on Next

Click Next

Click Save
