# Policy A policy is an object in AWS that, when associated with an entity or resource, defines their permissions. AWS evaluates these policies when a principal, such as a user, makes a request. Permissions in the policies determine whether the request is allowed or denied.

Click Security, Identity, & Compliance

Click IAM

Click Users

Click and type the username. Click Next to continue.

Click on username

Click Add permissions

Select Add permissions

Select " AttachPoliciesDirectly" and click Next to continue.

Type the policy name in search box and press ENTER. Click Next to continue.

Select the policy you want to attach to the user

Click Next

Click Add permissions

Select the user to check the policy added to User.

Click and give the username. Click Next to continue.
