This skill shows the steps to be followed to generate and retrieve an Aadhaar VID. Prerequisites: Have a valid Aadhaar number and a registered Aadhaar mobile for receiving the OTP. Ensure that your login UMANG mobile number is the registered Aadhaar number.[NOTE: Please make sure that log in to the UMANG website and Aadhaar site before playing the skill].

Open UMANG - One App, Many Government Services

To perform the search, please click on the search bar, enter "Aadhaar," and then press the enter key. Click on the "Next" button on the Supervity instruction widget.

Look for the search result that is titled "My Aadhaar" and is positioned at the top of the list.

To proceed, please click on the "Generate Virtual ID" option from the list.

Click on the option and select "generate the VID". This will initiate the process of generating a new Virtual ID. Click on the "Next" button on the Supervity instruction widget.

To proceed, please click on the "Submit" button. After clicking the button, a pop-up window will appear displaying the generated Virtual ID (VID). Take note of the VID for your reference. Once you have observed the VID, you can close the pop-up window by clicking on the "Close" button.
