Step by step process to edit your display name in slack. Note: Make sure you already logged into the slack in browser.
Steps

Open the Slack application.

1. Click on the Profile icon at top right corner of the page.

2. Click on the Profile option from the menu.

3. Click on the Edit option.

4. Press "escape" (Esc) button in keyboard to close the Time zone pop-up. Click inside the Display name text box to enter the desired name. Click on the Next button in Supervity instruction widget.

5.Click on the Save Changes button.
